Awards Night

Ben Bailey Smith hostsAcclaimed actor, writer, stand-up comedian and sometime rapper Ben Bailey Smith will host the OC Excellence Awards presentation. He’s currently gracing the big screen as the co-star of Ricky Gervais in the film “David Brent: Life on the Road”; and is an occasional host of BBC Radio 5Live’s Film Review Show. The smart, funny and original Smith started his career as a battle rapper under the alias Doc Brown, a nickname earned as a teen due to a gangly and geeky similarity to the “Back to The Future” scientist. He soon moved into comedy, appearing on Live at the Apollo, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 4 to name but a few. Smith is also a talented script and children’s book writer (it must run in the family – his sister is multi award-winning author Zadie Smith). We are thrilled to have him join us to give his own special take on outstanding Organisational Culture!

The OC Excellence Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 16th November at the luxurious Tower Hotel. The night will be dedicated to celebrating powerful and inspirational Organisational Culture stories across the Private, Public and Not-for-profit sectors.

Meet your Host & Entertainer!

You’ll be able to take in a stunning view of Tower Bridge and the Thames while enjoying reception drinks, followed by a sumptuous three-course dinner and top-class entertainment in the Tower Suite. Then networking, dancing, and general fun alongside your team and other fellow HR professionals.
