Awards Night

Ben Bailey Smith hostsThe very best-performing organisations from this list were announced on 16th November, 2016 at a fabulous Awards Night at the Tower Hotel, St Katharine’s Way, London.
Acclaimed actor, writer, stand-up comedian and sometime rapper Ben Bailey Smith entertainingly hosted the OC Excellence Awards presentation. Ben has recently graced the big screen as the co-star of Ricky Gervais in the film “David Brent: Life on the Road”; and is an occasional host of BBC Radio 5Live’s Film Review Show. The smart, funny and original Smith started his career as a battle rapper under the alias Doc Brown, a nickname earned as a teen due to a gangly and geeky similarity to the “Back to The Future” scientist. He soon moved into comedy, appearing on Live at the Apollo, BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 4 to name but a few. Smith is also a talented script and children’s book writer (it must run in the family – his sister is multi award-winning author Zadie Smith). We were thrilled to have him join us and give his own special take on outstanding Organisational Culture! To see the image gallery from the evening, click here.

The 2017 Awards are now open. To find out how to enter, please click here, or for more information and to speak to a member of the OC Excellence team contact us at awards@ocexcellence or on +44 (0)1727 847398.
